This 19th century one-of-a-kind figa amulet necklace is Italian, from Naples, circa 1850 - 1860. Perhaps someone collected the amulets over time and had this very personal necklace created for herself. The open cable is 9k gold with five unique 18k gold and carved coral figa amulets, each symbolizing a specific protection or mystical power; one has a turquoise cabochon accent.  Please note one charm on the end has a broken fingertip, as seen in the photos. The necklace is being sold "as is".
